We notice your association with blackhaine, where did this relationship derive from?

Yeah man, that link came up through a guy called Rainy Miller who is a long time friend of mine, we started making music together and he put me on to him, we were releasing on his label Fixed Abode and so that link came from there - and of course, we ‘re all repping Preston, Preston boys.

What is the inspiration behind the track ‘self made’ - is that your true interpretation?

You know what I think the title feels separate to the song, I feel like this was just the point we was at when my boy Satti made the beat. I don’t know exactly why bu it just felt right to call the song that. There is no self made in the song, it was just us having fun and to call it self made just felt right.

What other preston based artists should we know about?

There’s many I can think of but I’m going to say Elijah Bello, he’s a cold rapper, he’s on his own wave. He’s really associated with Preston so watch out for him. Then Rainy Miller, the producer of Blackhaine, he is also sick artist on his own vibe - he’s another guy you should definitely check out.

Dream festival headline?

It would be sick to do any festival, but like Coachella, Rolling Loud definitely. I think sonically I’m more inspired by things that are out of the country. It would be sick to hear what the reception is like on big stages.

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT TO SEE FROM YOU IN THE NEXT YEAR?

I’ve got a lot of releases coming in the next few months and there’s going to be a couple of videos, an EP and some dotted singles. There could even be another full project and obviously I’m collaborating with other artists on projects - so expect to hear from them.
